Mobile Area Information

Pulling you deeper into the city’s history as you stroll or drive, the enormous magnolia trees and azaleas lining the streets of Mobile are simply majestic in the spring and summer months. 

When the blooms are at bay, time seems to stand still.  For many, the Battleship Memorial Park and Civil War Trail beckon to times that defined our country.    For others, the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal cruising throughout the Caribbean leads are of interest as they journey to other historical destinations.

The Mobile, Spanish, Tensaw, Apalachee and Blakely rivers are flow into the Mobile Bay.   Fishing, boating, swimming and shrimping are a way of life in Mobile.  Dauphin Island is surrounded with sugar white sands and topped with seashells.

Home to the first known Mardi Gras celebration in 1703, the annual festival is a highlight for residents and guests with parties, costumes and parades mandating the attention of the masses.
